All money ($25) needs to be turned in tomorrow, November 22, for the dance bags. It is not required, but they will be using them a lot! They have a ton of stuff to haul around with them, and the bag will come in handy! Please give your money to Hannah in class tomorrow or you will not get one!
The Stowers are working on refurbishing the props for BWS all week. They would love some help. They are working at the old skating rink. Give them a call to find out when they are there.
Continue selling your tickets. Remember you are responsible for $160 to be turned in-whether you sell the tickets or not, so please try to get them all sold.

the November parent meeting will be tonight at 6pm. If you are a Senior and you want to sell your poinsettias, bring your order forms tonight to the meeting. Each family has to purchase one to be used at Breakfast with Santa.

Pancake Breakfast
Everyone should have gotten their pancake breakfast tickets today. This is a great fundraiser for us! Applebees is giving us the entire $5 - that's $1500 for 3 hours!! If you get a check as payment, please make it payable to "THS Singers". At our next month's parent meeting, please bring all your unsold tickets and any cash you have collected thus far to turn in to Sharon Nelius. She will be present with more info and a waiver we all must sign to be at the Applebees to work/serve food. Remember that each Singer must have someone representing them at the Breakfast.

DON'T FORGET...
Don't forget this Friday is the day to sign-up for Mid-State. Every Singer should do this. $5 to Mrs. Parlier.
Also, if you are interested in doing Civic Choir, the sign-up is on the 23rd at 7pm at Grace Baptist. Another fun opportunity to showcase all our talents!

Pancake Breakfast
On Saturday, September 18th, we will have a pancake breakfast at Applebee's. This is a great fundraising opportunity for us! We will have to sell 300 tickets, so only 10 per Singer at a cost of $5 each. We make either $4 or $3 per ticket! So go ahead and mark your calendars for that weekend and start getting some presales! Tickets will be delivered at the end of August with exact times.

Parent Meeting
Our 1st parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 3rd at 7:00 in the chorus room. Plan on being there - remember these meetings are mandatory that someone from your family be present. We will going over a lot of new information!

Singers Retreat!
This week is the Singers Retreat for our new group. You will need to be at the high school at 6pm on Friday night. You will be able to enter down at the door by the chorus room. We will have pizza first thing and then get into our dancing/singing/team building activities. There will be a movie to watch in the auditorium around 10 pm. Parents who signed up need to be there by 11:30 pm for the night. We will have breakfast by 8am on Saturday and then more activities until 12.
Don't forget: pillow, sleeping bag, change of clothes for Sat, dancing clothes, character shoes if you have them, toiletries, water, snacks
This is required for every singer! Remember more than half of us are new, so we need this bondng time.

New Parent Meeting
Thanks to everyone who attended the New Parent meeting last Monday. This blog will serve as a communication link from Mrs. Parlier to you-the parents. IMPORTANT EVENTS!
Please remember that the first week of May is auditions for next year. You are responsible for the song (and music if you choose to have some) for your audition. The auditions are open and will be held on Monday the 3rd for vocals and the rest of the week will be learning the dance. Results will be posted soon after. Audition packets are in Mrs. Parlier's room, and you MUST have one before you will be allowed to audition-even returning members! Pick one up and have it filled out beforehand. Auditions will be held in the new auditorium.
Also, don't forget to make posters for the halls at school to recruit new members! We are losing a large group this year so we are going to have to get a lot more to replace them.
